Still devoted to film (...Waiting to see you photos.
Still devoted to film (still old bulks of Agfa APX 100 and APX 400 in the fridge) and ..... 11 800si bodies ! yes right, 11 bodies: I bought two from new in 2001 and 2002. Then I started collecting them, all in full working order.
I have also Sony A580 and Sony A850, but never felt very confident with them, A850 is still new, very few shots. A580 is great for video.

Back to the film, here a not updated set on flickr:

http://www.flickr.com/photos/eugcheru/

Film makes you think about exposure, aperture, with digital you generally don't care before shooting.
Films is reliable (no battery down and no storage media KO). Film is real, you can touch the negatives or slides. Slides shot in sunny day (say Provia 100F) on light box seen through a good glass loupe ..... no digital body can achieve that brilliance. Developing B&W with my Paterson tank ..... it's such a satisfaction !!

Regards

Eugenio - Italy

Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07741635694948858997noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6938824791812834583.post-53759278589711731982013-08-05T22:14:01.640-07:002013-08-05T22:14:01.640-07:00Thank you Roger. How the story translates to the film is going to be very interesting and put my skills on stage for all to see. Talk about a bit nervous! :)

CCarl Garrardhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01561256121516104816noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6938824791812834583.post-10986187744222483952013-08-05T00:53:18.508-07:002013-08-05T00:53:18.508-07:00I'm looking forward to see how your project tu...I'm looking forward to see how your project turns out. It sounds like fun.
