Progressive Photography Journal

Progressive Photography Journal
March 2011, Carl Garrard

Hello all. Welcome to my progressive photography journal. I'll be updating this journal as I take new photographs that I feel are worth sharing with my readers. Camera equipment and photography mediums will both vary as desired, and be reflected with each photograph. The purpose, or I should say goal- of this photo journal is to share with readers my recent photographic work and techniques, with hopes that it might even help to inspire others to stay active and invigorated about photography.

As well, my journal serves as a reminder to myself to make an active attempt to continue working and exploring new photographic methods and techniques, and also to help stay sharp on ones I've already learned. Basic information about the equipment I use and exposure information will be made available for each photograph.

Thank you for viewing my journal and please feel free to comment anytime.

Cheers!

-C.Garrard

  2. It is a real pleasure to see your images; not that I don't like the reviews, but you have always known me to lean a little heavier towards the photography end vs. the techie hardware end...

Glad to see that you are able to spend sometime shooting with all of the gear you write about.

    Keep up the good work!

  5. Experimenting with a variety of cameras and lenses must be fun. As for the pictures, I liked the Morning Fresia and the Avocado best.

I'd like to see more images with the a580 using Sony and Minolta lenses.

Except for one private correspondent, I don't contribute much to the conversations, but I enjoy reading others' comments and your reviews and replies.

  6. Thanks John.

Indeed using different cameras is fun, but I definitely have my favorites to do the job.
